Wild garlic is a quite rare plant in the garlic family, of which garlic, onions and chives are the better-known species. Wild garlic is appreciated because of its less intense flavor compared to traditional garlic. Because of that, wild garlic can easily be combined with other delicate flavors. Along with the natural ingredients like tomato flakes, basil, paprika powder, oregano, garlic and salt, this Wild Garlic mix -once prepared- tastes like a fresh green tomato with a hint of garlic. The dried herb mix can be prepared very easily. Just add one part of the Wild Garlic Mix to three parts of hot water and let it soak for about five minutes. Add a little bit of extra vierge olive oil and your herb mix is ready to go.

Add the prepared Wild Garlic Mix to a sour cream dip, mayonnaise or yoghurt to create a nice dip for your raw vegetables, French bread or use it as a spread on your sandwich. The herb mix can also be used to prepare a dressing, or to add a little bit of flavor to your soups, risottos, mashed potatoes or fried fish. Mix the Wild Garlic mix with some olive oil to create a marinade for your meat or chicken, or use the herb mix as a seasoning in your pasta.
