Grissini is a bread specialty, originally from the Italian region of Piemonte. In Italy you will normally find this grissini, or another bread substitute, on every dining table. Traditionally the grissini was mainly eaten as a snack, wrapped with wafer-thin slices of Parma ham. Grissini is always tasty and crispy, caused by the special artisanal preparation. All air is kneaded out of the dough during preparation. The dough of this bread specialty is made of wheat flour, water, yeast, olive oil and a pinch of salt.

These days grissini are not exclusively eaten in the Italian region of Piemonte, but the product has conquered a place on the dining tables of many Italians and Italian restaurants. The Grissini Sicilia is a variation of the original grissini. They are seasoned with a nice mix of tomato and sweet herbs. Irresistibly delicious to eat right away. The little bread sticks are also very suitable to dip in cottage cheese, yogurt or olive mayonnaise. The Grissini Sicilia are also delicious to eat with soup, or to use as a crispy addition to a fresh salad.
