As opposed to dark balsamic vinegar, white balsamic vinegar is made using white grapes instead or red grapes. This allows you to enjoy its typically rich flavor while the light color prevents the dishes from becoming discolored, something which doesn't look quite as nice. As a condiment, the balsamic vinegar is further enriched with extra ingredients. Often in the shape of fruit, herbs or spices.

Leonardi is a very reputable Italian vinegar estate. This family has been a dedicated owner of vine yards since the 18th century and specialises in creating balsamic vinegars. They have the highest quality and standard and work only with natural ingredients, without additives such as caramel and coloration. For the Condimento Balsamico Bianco alla Zeffrano white Trebbiano grapes were used, boiled down to grape must. This grape must spends no less than four years ripening in oaken vats. Saffron has also been added, you can see the luxurious and exclusive saffron wires clearly in the vinegar. This results in a lightly colored balsamic condiment with beautiful flavor profile which balances between sour, sweet and fruity.

The applications are endless... The Condimento Balsamico Bianco alla Zeffrano can be added to sauces, salads and vegetables: all are given a notable twist with this product. Even white fish, shellfish or seafood, pizzas, risotto, couscous, omelettes and soups are given a delicious flavor thanks to this balsamic vinegar with saffron.
