A shrub is a cocktail based on vinegar, soda water and/ or fresh ingredients such as mint, raspberry, lemon or basil. These recipes have been specially developed for Oil & Vinegar by Tess Posthumus – better known as world’s best female bartender! She selected her favourite vinegars for making shrubs.

    • 45 ml vodka
    • 45 ml coconut water
    • 10 ml triple sec
    • 20 ml Passion Fruit Vinegar
    • 5 ml pineapple syrup
    • Orange zest
    • Ice cubes

  • Preparation:

    Mix all ingredients except for the orange in a (cocktail) shaker filled with ice cubes. Take a martini glass and strain the cocktail into the glass. Garnish with a strip of orange zest and a small edible flower (optional).
