This Whiskey BBQ Sauce recipe has been exclusively developed for Oil & Vinegar as an innovative taste for lovers of traditional ketchups and barbeque sauces. A full, rich tomato flavour forms the basis, but it is the pleasant spicy twist with real whisky that makes this sauce so special and surprising.

The sauce can be used cold, but can also be served hot. It is a pleasant companion for all types of barbeque meat and can best be compared to a traditional barbeque sauce or ketchup.

  • Tomato paste (33%), water, apple vinegar (sulphite), onion chutney (onion, cane sugar, water, vinegar (sulphite), sunflower oil, maize starch, garlic, mustard, coriander, chili, cumin, citric acid) sugar, whiskey (4%, 1.6% vol.), chilli paste (1,1%) (chilli peppers, salt, citric acid), salt, natural whisky flavour, crushed black pepper, colour: caramel.
