Oleificio ''San Calogero'' is a family business which has been dedicated to the olive oil business for several generations. It all started with the oil mill in 1923, when Mr. Giuseppe Santangelo initiated the ''San Calogero'' company. The current olive oil mill situated in Sciacca, Sicily, dates back to 1993 and is the pride of the Santangelo family. This oil comes from the Nocellara variety, the olive of choice in the Belice valley of Sicily. The oil has a fruity, slightly bitter and spicy taste with hints of artichoke and freshly mown grass.

Drizzle over vegetable soups, add to cooked vegetables and salads; for cooking it is delicious in the preparation of sauces and roasting meats and fish. Vinegar combination: 56938 Jerez Sherry Vinegar D.O. 5L.
