This lemon Curd has a creamy lemon flavour and is great spread on bread and pancakes. It is also delicious used as a filling for cookies, cakes, tarts and muffins.

Lemon Curd consists of butter, eggs, and lemon, giving it the characteristic creamy lemon flavour. Traditionally served with bread and scones, it makes a good filling for pies and other pastries. Lemon curd is also delicious stirred through yoghurt.

The Lemon Curd is excellent in a lemon-meringue pie or with cream for filling meringues and cakes. Another summer dessert is the petit gâteau au citron, a small pie filled with Lemon Curd.
