Galette is a term from French cuisine and is the name for various types of round, crispy wafers or biscuits. The wafers are oven-baked in France according to an original and traditional recipe and are of the highest quality. You will imagine yourself being in France down to the very last crumb.

These crispy salted wafers have been specially selected by Oil & Vinegar. They are ideal as an appetizer and the wafers are excellent with our original French tapenades, such as Pâte d'Olives Noires (a French tapenade made from black olives, capers, garlic and lemon) or with Tapenade Verte au Fenouil (our green olive tapenade made with fennel from France).

The Galettes are also delicious when spread with herb butter or as a snack with roast vegetables. They can also be served as part of a sophisticated starter or main course such as finely sliced steak or fish tartare. Or how about with a cheese board as a dessert, accompanied by a delicious fig spread? There are so many possibilities!

P.S. They are also great on their own!

Serving tip: Spread them just before serving so that the wafers stay deliciously crispy.
