Tapas is Spanish for appetizers, and comes from the word ‘tapar’, which means covering. Back in the days, bread was put on a drinking glass, to protect the bread from the flies and insects. Nowadays, tapas are known worldwide. Not only because the small, traditional snacks are a delight to the palate, but also because the tapas are a delight to the eye!
Tapas is especially a good treat when you are in good company and when you want to have a delicious and cozy evening. Tapas can be eaten with many people. The tapas can of course be eaten with the 11,5 cm long stainless steel tapas fork that comes from Portugal. And after you have used the tapas fork, you can put it in the dishwasher, for endless tapas fun!
