Pesto Genovese is also called basil pesto or green pesto. Centuries ago, the ancient Romans already enjoyed pesto. Pesto Genovese is made with basil, garlic, grated cheese, pine nuts and olive oil. You can make your own pesto, but it takes some time. Sometimes you just don’t have enough time and then you can enjoy Miscela di Spezie Pesto a la Genovese! You can create a quality pesto Genovese with just three tablespoons of this herb mix, four tablespoons of hot water and two tablespoons of extra vierge olive oil (which you add after 5 minutes). Enjoy your own basil pesto with some ciabatta and buffalo mozzarella and sundried tomatoes or prosciutto! Or try it on pasta to create an authentic meal. Also delicious as a dip combined with Mini Grissini Integrale.
