Elderberry is a fast growing type of honeysuckle, which blossoms in spring and carries fruit. The elderberry tastes sweet and flowery. In combination with the fresh element of apple and lemon, it creates a mild citrus flavor, which makes it an excellent addition to many dishes.

Obviously delicious in a salad with vegetables and/or fruit, such as an apple-beet salad. When serving as a dressing, the Elderberry-Apple-Lemon Vinegar works well with other olive oils from the Oil & Vinegar range, such as Lemon Olive Oil, Bonsecco Olive Oil or herb olive oils.

It also makes for a surprisingly good marinade for chicken. In this case, mix the Elderberry-Apple-Lemon Vinegar with a neutral olive oil. Can also be used in desserts, such as yoghurt or – surprisingly delicious! - boiled down or mixed with whipped cream on fruit or cheesecake! This fantastic flavor is also great simply as it is in a glass of orange juice, coconut milk or mineral water. However, if you really fancy a fresh feast, pour a small amount of Elderberry-Apple-Lemon Vinegar in a glass of Prosecco or another type of sparkly wine. Cheers!
