HOW IT’S MADE

Once the bees finish pollinating, the honey is pasteurized in special, ventilated air ovens at a temperature of 149°F / 158°F (65°/70°C). This stops the natural crystallization process. After this, the honey is slowly mixed with the strawberries. When the mixture has been poured into the jar, it will be pasteurized again in its entirety (for food safety) at the same temperature.

BEST TO EAT WITH

A bowl of plain yogurt with unsalted nuts and a firm drizzle of this honey and strawberry mix on top. Also good on ice cream, fruit, pancakes or as a sweetener for pies and cakes.
